Poetic Perspective: Rudd Drowned By Windrush
And it came to past
Ominous clouds did forecast
The weather was of gust
Amber Rudd was in the rush
Swimming in Themes was rough
Alas! My boat got a touch ….
It developed a leak …
Sinking, my future was bleak
I now was trying to swim …
Doing so with much vim …
Oops! Windrush a gusting wind
My boat was flimsy, very thin
Help me “I cannot even float”
Water is threatening my boat
Just got a call from 10 Downing .
Help! help! I am drowning …
The call was not regal …
Held as scapegoat in scandal
A casualty in the Windrush saga
For me this is a career disaster
Am being ridiculed, for laughter
Why May chose this daughter?
She planted, I just add water …
I was just her obedient partner
May refuse to take political heat
She suddenly got cold feet ….
Lammy & Abbott are “terrorists”
Their verbal attacks … not bliss
I have to save face …
Windrush is a disgrace …
We failed the bloody broke …
That’s no joke …
Their biting comments bruised …
May became a bit confused
I have to find a way out …
So as to stay in the bout ….
I have to stem the bleeding
So as to get some healing
To stay in the fold ….
And regain full control …
Rudd must take the fall …
My action will not appall …
Politically, I need the black vote
This is survival … no joke
Rudd soliloquizing, I did weep …
I am unable to properly sleep Giving Windrushers their right
Alas! Only tangible thing in sight
May birth “hostile environment”
Deporting was her real intent ….
Focus, only on 10 percent goal…
She was determined and cold …
My focus was on waiving fees
Set detainees and others free
They have a right to citizenship
We should not torpedo their ship
Rudd was drowned in the Rush
We could say by Windrush …
Why all the fuss …?
Their motives were not robust …
Happy riddance madam Rudd
You are that withered bud …
May planted, you never rooted…
Hence now uprooted …
Ah, ah, ah ….
