The Calgary Stampeders have clinched a spot in the C-F-L playoffs. Drew Tate scored on a one-yard touchdown plunge with 34 seconds left as Calgary beat Saskatchewan 31-24 at Mosaic Stadium. The lengthy drive by the Stampeders extinguished any hope of a comeback win by the Riders, who scored 24 points in the second half. Earlier, Jonathan Williams scored two touchdowns as Ottawa downed Winnipeg 42-20 to halt a nine-game slide.
