50 CENT FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Rapper-actor 50 Cent wants bankruptcy protection. The move comes just days after a jury ordered him to pay five-million dollars in an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit. The U-S Bankruptcy Court filing in Connecticut lists both his assets and liabilities as between 10-million and 50-million. Last Friday, a jury in New York ordered 50 Cent to pay five-million to a woman for inserting himself as a crude commentator on her sex tape and posting it online. 50 Cent’s screen credits include the Starz network series “Power” and the upcoming boxing movie “Southpaw.”
