50 CENT SAYS “EMPIRE” IS COPYING “POWER”

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) _ After one week, 50 Cent already doesn’t like the new Fox drama, “Empire.” He says the promotions for “Empire” are too similar to “Power,” the Starz network show that he’s in. 50 Cent says “Empire” uses the word “power” in its ads, and “they didn’t have to do that.” He points out that an “Empire” ad showing actors Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson with smouldering expressions is similar to the “Power” ad of actors Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton. Henson responded by tweeting, “I pay attention to $, not cents,” then added a peace sign. 50 Cent says he laughed it off because, “Can you say anything bad when a woman says something to you and not be inappropriate?”
