Alkaline set to top the charts all December!

Despite his absence from the local scene, recording artiste Alkaline continues to surpass his peers on digital platforms.

12 singles,1 collaboration with Stalk Ashley released in 2020, the artiste has amassed over 30 million streams with no promotional thrust or appearances.

As for the remnants of 2020, Alkaline has started releasing various visuals for singles released earlier this year, all of which has garnered millions of views .

With December being the artiste birth month, Alkaline kicked off the celebratory period with the release of visuals for his single ‘We Up’ last week, which saw the video peaking at the #1 position on the coveted Apple Video and YouTube Charts.

A week later, the Billboard charting artiste also followed suit with the release of another video for his single Nah Fi Like which amassed 510,000 views on YouTube in 24hrs. The video also peaked at #2 on the Apple Video and #1 on YouTube charts since it’s release.

The high-society themed visuals portray Alkaline strutting around a mansion in Miami with beautiful females, exotic animals, draped in high couture fashion.

While the artiste style and lyrics remain a cause for controversy in Jamaica, this has only made him a ‘counterculture icon’ amongst youths. Releases such as ‘Monopoly’, ‘Ocean Wave’, ‘Juggernaut’ and ‘Move Mountains’ are just a few examples of his artistry yet again.
