Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh to Headline She-EO Conference, July 28

BALTIMOREJuly 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — She-EO conference welcomes Baltimore Mayor Catherine E. Pugh as its special guest of honor for the third iteration of the women’s multicultural conference.

Catherine E. Pugh is the 50th Mayor of Baltimore, and has strived to increase job creation, crime reduction and improved investment in education and struggling Baltimore neighborhoods. She is the third Black woman to hold mayoral office in Baltimore.

“Women are leading and succeeding everywhere, and though inequality exists, there is a lot that we can to do to challenge those realities, by using our platforms to mentor, promote talent, and diversify institutions,” says Mayor Pugh.

She-EO (She Executive Officer) is a talk-show style event designed for women looking to break barriers, blaze trails, and each She-EO event boasts powerful female presenters, including entrepreneurs and corporate executives.

According to She-EO creator Tope Ganiyah Fajingbesi, social entrepreneur and financial consultant, the conference brings together a broad base of women looking to build a better world. “There is something at the event for women from all walks of life, whether they are looking to be change agents in their personal world, are looking to build a business of their own, or want to be more successful leading projects or departments in their organizations,” Fajingbesi said.

Registration is open for the July 28th event, which will be held at the John and Frances Angelos Law Center at the University of Baltimore.  The event runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EDT).
