Bunting’s Silence is Deafening says Derrick Smith as crime wave escalate and jail breaks frequently occur

The Opposition Spokesman on National Security and former Security Minister has called for an investigation into these jail breaks. “The Police go out their way to capture these criminals, for them to break out of jai is unacceptable” Smith declared.

DPP Orders Police be Charged

The Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn has ruled that 5 police officers be charged for negligence in a recent jail break. They are to answer to these charges in court soon.

National Security Minister Peter Bunting has refused to comment on the jail breaks. Instead he said there are some 700 additions to the Police … so the public can be more secured.

Deputy Commissioner in charge of operations from the Police High Command Glenroy Hinds refused to comment on the jail breaks claiming “on going investigations” … “I do not rule out negligence and or collusion …in responding to suggestions put to the top cop.
