Kingston Jamaica It has been many years since this Florida based artiste fell in love with Reggae music and Rad Dixon was always hoping for that mainstream push for his budding career; now with a new label Tasjay Productions working closely with him for the last two years, he is seeing great strides with his new material regardless of the challenges of the global pandemic.

Motivated by real life and artistes that trodded before him, including Dennis Brown and Garnett Silk; Rad’s sultry ballads resonated mostly on the live music and Hotel Cabaret scene. Known for more traditional reggae tracks, Rad sees his new single ‘Missing You’ as a merger of Reggae and Dancehall showcasing his versatility.

Missing You is slightly different from the flow that I’m known for but it’s an awesome project so I definitely had to lend my vocals to it and the finished project exceeded expectations,” Rad noted

Produced by DJ Treasure Music and Jamaican/Canadian based label, Tasjay Productions who also currently manages the artiste; ‘Missing You’ Highlights the feelings of losing a friend or loved one and remembering the times spent with that person. This is even more potent during this world wide Covid-19 crisis, it is very real to the artiste Rad Dixon personally as well because he lost his best friend in a tragic car accident recently.

Everyone can relate to this track because they either experienced this loss themselves or close to someone who has, losing someone is a part of real life and that why I felt connected to writing about it,” Rad added

Recent tracks released by Rad Dixon include ‘Keep The Children Safe’ on the Outta Jamaica Riddim project released last year and the cover of Kenny Rodgers’ “Write Your Name ‘ single released on Friday January 29, 2021. Rad Dixon is also completing his album for release later this year.
