Religious Focus: Audley Wellington Thomas

Religious Focus
The late accountant of Toyota Jamaica Ltd. 84 years old,  was laid to rest on Saturday February 9 at The Redeemer Moravian Church,  Kingston,  Jamaica.  He was sick for a few years which confined him to his home.  The funeral service was well attended as the church hall had to help to house the overflow from the main chapel.   There were glowing tributes and the atmosphere was most dignified.

Audley Wellington Thomas was eulogised as an outstanding leader,  devoted Christian, visionary and a man of unquestionable integrity.
Internment 
He was laid to rest in the Mizpah Moravian Cemetery,  Manchester Parish.   He is survived by wife of 52 years,  Ivy, children and host of relatives and friends.  May his soul rest in peace.
A Repass was held at the Mizpah Primary School in Manchester not far from the Cemetery.
Commentary 
We salute Audley Thomas and grieve with his family at this great loss.   He was known to me and my family for 40 plus years.  Also he was a a good person with a pleasant personality,  who earned the respect of many.
