Cassie and Jhené Aiko (pictured center) are tapped for Solange‘s Saint Heron compilation, the inaugural release under her Saint Records imprint.

The 12-track album of cuts handpicked by the singer/DJ introduces the boutique record label that she founded to “cultivate the community for genre-defying R&B artists,” she said via a press release to BET.com. “I’ve personally connected with all of these extremely talented artists,” Solo added, “and [I’m] really excited for us to come together through the compilation as a new movement for music.”

The label launch coincides with the debut of an accompanying music and culture site,SaintHeron.com. “I’m looking forward to SaintHeron.com being a home for music and culture enthusiasts like myself who want to see content that really reflects the community we are part of,” the 28-year-old continued.

In addition to Cassie and Aiko, who’s been officially added to Drake‘s Would You Like a Tour?, the Saint Heron album features contributions from Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Kelela, Petite Noir, Iman Omari, India Shaw, BC Kingdom, Jade J, Starchild and Sampha. The album’s first single is the Morri$-produced track “Go All Night,” a full-length recording of the two-part interlude from Kelela’s Cut 4 Me.

Saint Heron will be available in digital, CD and vinyl form Nov. 12.
