The Caribbean-Canadian family is welcoming viewers into their home for the holidays

(Toronto, ON) – Canada’s first Black Caribbean reality show, Auntie Jillian, will be airing a back to back holiday special on Christmas Day December 25th at 8am and 12 noon AST and Boxing Day December 26th at 8am AST. “The Christmas season is always an exciting and busy time in our household,” exclaimed Jillian Danford, aka Auntie Jillian. “Though things can get pretty hectic, we are looking forward to sharing the joy of the holidays with all of our viewers at home”

When the excitement and stress of the holidays kick in, mayhem ensues as the Danfords scramble to prepare for visitors and festivities. From hectic last-minute shopping to Myles’s interesting decorating choices to Milan’s inexperience in the kitchen, the Auntie Jillian Holiday Special is bound to bring joy and laughter into viewers’ homes Christmas morning.

On Boxing Day, see how the Danfords coped with lockdown during the flashback COVID episode of Auntie Jillian. “COVID definitely upped the stress level for us, just like many other families,” says Jillian. “The Stay-at-Home order presented a lot of challenges to all of us, but also brought some blessings in disguise.”

Auntie Jillian started off on YouTube™, quickly amassing 100K+ subscribers and more than 14 million views from a culturally diverse international audience. Viewers quickly grew to love the Trinidad-born YouTuber, her Jamaican-born husband Warren, and the couple’s hilarious interactions with their Canadian Millennial and Gen Z kids, Myles and Milan.

Season 1 of Auntie Jillian was a hit after airing on Bell Fibe1 in 2019 and being picked up by Synergy TV in 2021. Now airing its second season, viewers are eagerly anticipating what the family will bring this holiday season. “The holidays are always crazy at our house,” shares Milan, “there’s always so much that needs to be done to prepare, but when the whole family is here and we get to share some laughter and joy, it makes it all worth it”.
