SCARBOROUGH AFRO CARIB FEST is this weekend!!!

Scarborough Afro-Carib Fest (SACF) is BACK, BIGGER, BETTER and even more EXCITING!!! This 2-day community festival event offers : live musical performances from over 40 artists, over 50 marketplace vendors,  traditional African and Caribbean dancers, multi-cultural cuisine, drum workshops, exciting dance competitions, youth and  kids zone, interactive family activities and much more!
 
The festival will take place on Saturday Aug 25th and Sunday  26th, 2018 at the Albert Campbell Square of the Scarborough Civic Centre, between 12 noon- 9PM

Artists for this year includes: Juno Award Winning Lenn Hammond, Korexion, Burundi Drumming Toronto, Dance Caribe, Ijo Vudu Drum and Dance, Carnival Spice, Slim Flex, Chita Movalez, Fumu Jahmez,  Level Exodus Band, Slim Flex, Gabriela Belly Dance,  Arabesque Earth Shakers and more!
 
SACF has become a vital component of the cultural fabric of Scarborough and offers an avenue for the celebration of the cultural heritage of the African and Caribbean communities and beyond as it showcases unity, diversity, inclusiveness through arts, music, food and culture. The event is FREE and everyone is welcome!
