DENNIE’S ELEGY OF SHALLOW GRAVES

With unmeasured fits of rage …
You unleashed anguish, outrage 
Six had no chance to escape ….
Your hapless conduct a disgrace

With overpowering force …
Your murderous rape was course
This Lament is to offer closure …
After widespread press exposure

Oh!  The unfortunate victims …
Alas! St. Thomas mass killings
Michael McLean’s hacks vicious
Your conduct was atrocious …

Convicted by all 7 on Jury …
Met 4 hours, void of fury …
Found you guilty on all six …
Of all murder counts in the mix ..

Enter the conscious prosecutor
Named Llewellyn the Paula …
A very talented daughter …
To legally clean up this disaster

DPP,  case tough to prosecute ….
Statements likely they parachute
It took Judge and prosecution …
To navigate a sordid situation

Police has soul searching to do.
What a tragedy!  Much ado …
Key witness statement flew …”
Supposed to be handled by few

The culmination of your tirade
Victims put in shallow grave …
A shameful way to behave …
Murder, mayhem then grave?

Demonically you did murder …
Declared noted prosecutor Paula
Condemning victims down under
We are bound to weep … ayonder

You unleashed so much grief
By the grief you did entreat …
Your conduct bitter not sweet ….
No victim deserved this wreath ..

There is no room nor basis …
For you to cause this crisis …
These were innocent souls …
Callously, inflicted deadly blows

What was your real mission …?
You made an atrocious decision
You clearly lacked vision …
Fulfilling a murderous passion

Much anger you did vent …
Heavenly bound, victims sent …
It was a murderous fit …
That led you to kill six …

Not even children you did spare
Demonstrating you did not care .
Oh! Mclean of selfless rampage
What motivated such outrage?

The media was daily in court
Every detail they did report …
A news hungry public …the gore
They ever wanted more ….

Scribe Tauna Thomas on edge
In Court, fulfilling NNN’s pledge
To go where others dear not go
Ensuring top news forever flow …

Cowards keep sound bone
Staying in the safe zone …
When in a dangerous situation
Wise up for your protection …

She stayed near to the gate …
Her reports were first rate …
We think she sealed her fate …
Top security written on her slate

Even as McLean’s was half-bake
May you rot in Jail …
Alas! Justice system did not fail
Staying there until you get pale ..

Much grief victims did entail …
Your satanic focus did unveil
This was a mindless game …  Your actions only to blame …

You thought a blood sacrifice …
Even a blood bath could suffice
So to that you did resort …
To heal your erectile fault …

To obeah you did resort vainly
Hoping to restore your virility …
My goodness what a curiosity?
This led you to untold atrocity …

Your mission was murderous …
This was your only focus …
It took you to St. Mary Parish …
Last victim, you made to perish .

You unleashed blood thirsty rage
Last victim put in shallow grave
Burying pattern of 6, similar ….
Such gore to you is familiar ….

Extreme was your unfaithfulness
As you unleashed ruthlessness ..
We are in oneness …
As we lament this sadness …

We cannot fathom this madness
Least to mention ruthlessness
This is calculated human rape
Fit for lament & human outrage

Unfaithful to human suffering …
Unleashing untold pain, grieving
Your brutality, devoid of feeling..
Your conduct is so demeaning ..

On April 12 will know your fate …
May you rot inside prison gate ..
Descending to the lowest depth..
Victims’ relative … recommends a “sentence of death …”

Hope this elegy will bring solace
A matter of sorrowful distaste …
Helping sad victims to cope
Their backs forced to the rope …

We mourn irreplaceable loss …
At unpayable human cost …
Death penalty not on the card
Alas! You are certainly a retard …

Children among those mauled
To which must be appalled …
Some thought case would stall
This was a stupid call …

May you repent of your sin …
Allowing reconciliation to begin
God sees all your transgressions
Misdeeds, He never sanctions …
