A sexual harassment complaints unit is being established in Jamaica
June 14, 2022 | Colin O. Jarrett | A unit that will investigate sexual harassment complaints is being established in Jamaica.
This is the word from Minister of Culture, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Grange who said that recruitment already started and some officers expected to be on board by next month.
Additionally, she said a consultation has been engaged to assist with the setting up of the Sexual Harassment Tribunal (Sexual Harassment Complaints Unit)which will make decisions.
These decisions are based on the evidence compiled by a Sexual Harassment Unit on related matters.
