The defense is alleging that the key piece of evidence used to convict, the cellphone, was tampered with and therefore should not have been used as the foundation to build the prosecution’s case. Unauthorized calls for example were made from the phone while it was in the custody of the police. Shocking revelation indeed!

Prosecutory Misconduct
Bert Samuels, defense lawyer has flatly accused DPP Paula Llewellyn of wrongdoing when she allowed a Juror accused of trying to bribe other jurors was allowed to stay on the case. Then later charge the said juror with “attempting to pervert the course of justice”.
The case continues before a three member appeal tribunal.
