Emotions Raw As George Floyd’s Family Speaks with Minneapolis Police Chief

Emotions were so raw that the CNN Senior National Correspondent Sara Sidner had to fight back tears as the brother of George Floyd breaks down also in tears as they speak to Police Chief Arrolondo of the Minneapolis Police Department via CNN. This after the 6th straight day of protest over the killing of an unarmed black man by 4 white police officers.

Police chief Arrolondo visited the site of George Floyd’s death and took a knee in solidarity with the protestors.  When asked how he felt when he first got the news of George Floyds killing the police Chief said ..

“I was emotional…  Shortly after i saw it i put a call out to our local black ministers, activists and leaders.  We met later that morning and i asked them for prayer.”

Police Chief Arrolondo also said that all four officers should be charged.
“They were “complicit” those police officers who kept quiet and did nothing … were complicit” stated the Police Chief.

Officers Charged

Derek Chauvin the ring leader and alleged chief murderer, as portrayed by an 8 minute video has been charged with 3rd degree murder and manslaughter. He was observed kneeling on George Floyd’s.

Protestors are demanding that the other 3 officers who were involved also be charged.

Nationwide riots and looting have spread across 33 US States.  With every US state reporting some form of protest, including the state of Maryland home of Washington D.C. the Capital City and home of the President of the United States of America Donald Trump.
