Lunch-hour concert

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) will be presenting an Art lunch-hour concert at the Jamaica Conference Centre, 14 – 20 Port Royal Street, Kingston, this afternoon. The event will feature JCDC award-winning performances, viewing of the impressive pieces in the Jamaica Visual Arts competition, and participation in the Mek It and Share It Campaign.

Concert begins at 12:30 pm.

Stone Love Weddy Weddy

The weekly dance party Weddy Weddy continues tonight at the Stone Love Headquarters on Burlington Avenue. Starting time: 10:00 pm.

Seafood Wednesdays

This evening Seafood Wednesdays continue at 12 Dunrobin Avenue in Kingston. Dine to the music of Flabba Dabba.

Starting time: 6:00 pm.

Star Struck Wednesdays

Star Struck Wednesdays continues this evening at the Waterfront Pier in Montego Bay, St James.

Starting time: 9:00 pm.


Scandal Thursdays

Scandal Thursdays will take place at the Acropolis in Barbican, St Andrew. Starting time: 8:00 pm.

Johnnie Walker Striders Night

The Regency Bar at the Terra Nova Hotel in St Andrew will come alive tomorrow evening with its weekly Johnnie Walker Striders Night. The fun begins at 6:00 pm.

Flava Unit Anniversary

Flava Unit Anniversary will take place tomorrow at Ken’s Wildflower parking lot in Portmore, St Catherine. Event will feature Flava Unit and friends.


Major Lazer in concert

New Mas Camp at the Stadium car park will be the venue for Major Lazer in Concert on

Friday night.

Fish Fry and After Party

Fresh Money Team will be presenting their Fish Fry and After-Party at Robert Close, Kingston 10 (across from Oneil’s Place) on Friday. Music will be provided by Fresh Money Sound with DJ Kemar, Alonzo Hawk, and Gargamel.

Champagne Xcess

Champagne Xcess is scheduled for Oneil’s Place, Hagley Park Road in Kingston. The event includes performances from Jamrock, Kurt Riley and Alonzo Hawk.

FoodFest and Party

Masters and Celebrities (M&C) will be presenting Keep the Peace in the East Food Fest and Party on Friday at Afrique Sparkles HQ, 23 Franklin Avenue, Kingston 16 (off Deanery Road, just below the police station). Providing music will be Sniper International.

Johnnie Walker I Love Fridays

The Johnnie Walker experience continues on Friday night at Tea House, Hope Gardens in St Andrew at the weekly series dubbed Johnnie Walker I Love Fridays. Starting time is 8:00 pm.

Heineken Fridays

Montego Bay hip strip is the venue for the weekly Heineken Friday, which takes place at the MoBay Proper, Gloucester Avenue.

Magnum & JB Fresh Fridays

Magnum and JB Fresh Fridays is on at Kokonutz Sports Bar & Grill, Reading in St James. The event will feature a special guest disc jock every week.



WATA presents Wonder Land the Family Fun Experience at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre on Saturday.

Attractions include crazy rides, great games, fun food, cool culture, hot performers, costumed characters and lots of prizes and surprises.

Gates open at 10:00 am.

Bar B Q, The Uniform Edition will take place at the Convent of Mercy Academy (Alpha) school grounds and will feature Kalado, Davia, Ganguuley, ZJ Ice, and Vybz Entertainment.


Dancehall Awards

Dancehall’s bests will be recognised at Dancehall Awards at Oneil’s Place, Hagley Park Road, Kingston on Sunday. Providing music will be Foota Hype, Alonzo Hawk, and Chris Dymond.

Car and Bike Wash

Car and Bike Wash takes place on Sunday at the Mango Ranch featuring hot female dancers, and live DJs. Event begins at 12 noon and continues until midnight.

Funciti Day and Night Beach Fest

The Funciti Day and Night Beach Fest unfolds at the Funcity Beach in Port Henderson, Portmore on Sunday.

Guinness Wet Sundayz

The party series Guinness Wet Sundayz continues on Sunday at Hillview Avenue, Kingston.
