Jamaica’s Tourism Minister Meets Chris Gayle Before his Grammy Entry

Earlier this month, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism the Honourable Edmund Bartlett welcomed Jamaican cricket legend Chris Gayle for a courtesy call to his office in Kingston. Mr. Bartlett, who is a big cricket supporter, led a vibrant discussion with the legendary batsman. 

They discussed the development of sports tourism in Jamaica and opportunities along those lines between Jamaica, India, and the Middle East. The discussions see Chris Gayle contributing in roles as an athlete, businessman, and musician. 

Chris Gayle has also declared his entry into the 2024 Grammy race with the album he headlines “Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica the Asian Edition.”. The album also features Ms. Lauryn Hill, Capleton, Sizzla, Morgan Heritage, and new artists Lady Marga Mc and Kali Ranks. The album will be entered into the category of World Music Albums and Best Reggae Album. 

Chris Gayle will have his beach party on September 16th, 2023 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the Pearly Beach called 40 Shades of Gayle and recently shot a new music video for his song Hot Like Lava directed by AJG Logan with lead model Leah Rowe from Atlanta, and produced by Camar ‘Flava’ Doyles for Chris Gayle’s Triple Century Records. The video was shot at Jake’s Place in Treasure Beach, St Elizabeth.
