City of Toronto Implements New Tracking System for the Homeless
The City of Toronto creates new system for tracking homeless deaths. Victims were generally referred to as John and Jane doe. The new tracking system is a database which will provide names and statistics of homeless persons living on the streets, with family or friends. The new system will confirm the names of persons but more so to get the public involved in case of any deaths or other circumstances wherein identity needs to be confirmed. It aims to provide more information and relevant details into the lives of homeless persons.
