Jamaica’s Latest COVID-19 Update

The Jamaica COVID-19 Update for May 27, 2021 continues to show a consistent decrease in the COVID-19 cases in the country. The new cases are at a recent low with 79 new cases, and only 1 person having died from the virus. The recoveries from the COVID-19 virus are currently 155 persons.  New test samples are 2097. As the nightly curfew and the weekend lockdown implementation continues to prove quite effective the active cases are now at 22,348 persons.

Consistency is Key

With consistency being the major factor for the new strategies put in place by Prime Minister Andrew Holness Jamaica continues to see a huge drop in the COVID-19 numbers, giving the country hope of  a mask free society in the near future.
