The JLP led Holness administration is just in office about 45 days yet the attack “dogs” are tearing at it’s heels.

We believe an opposition has an important role to play, but not to be “silly.”A honeymoon period of 100 days is considered reasonable time to allow a new government to settle down. Alas! There is this indecent haste to hound the new government out of office. The PNP expects the JLP to do in 45 days that which it could not or was reluctant to do in 4 years.

Peter Phillips is at it again … with his doom and gloom. Shaw is qualified Dr. Phillips to manage the economy and deliver on his 1.5 Million income tax plan for workers.

The Opposition is vital for good governance but without “Vision thy people perish” says the Good Book the Bible.

We say give the JLP a chance to govern. We call on the Opposition Leader to rein in her “hounds” … you had your chance, do allow the JLP to govern on behalf of the people who have democratically elected this new government. To try to undermine this new government can be seen as “subverting the will of the people”. This is unacceptable, if this is the PNP’s master plan?

The throne speech is clear … to legalize ganja, replace the Queen and provide the DPP with a chance to appeal a dubious verdict … to name a few of the provisions, as to the road map to be pursued. To the PNP we say do not be the roadblock as the people are not asleep or stupid … they will punish you.

The people who voted for the JLP may be “crazy” according to utterances by Senator Mark Golding … but that is not illegal.
