Benjamin Alexander Becomes First Jamaican Skier to Qualify for Winter Olympics

Jamaica’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness took to social media to congratulate Jamaican Skier Benjamin Alexander after he became the first Jamaican Skier to qualify for the Winter Olympics.

Jamaican Minister of Sport, Gender, Culture and Entertainment also expressed her pleasure with a tweet of her own.

The Winter Olympics is being held this year in Beijing China beginning with the opening ceremonies on February 4th 2022 and continuing until the closing ceremonies on February 20th 2022.
