PNP Supporters Absent

PNP supporters were noticeably absent from the precincts of Parliament at the Opening of Parliament today.

Asked about the noticeable absence of PNP supporters. Senator Scott-Mottley said:

” They were asked not to attend due to the pandemic.”

The Official Opening of Parliament usually attracts a large amount of spectators. It is a sight to behold due to the colours pomp and pageantry. The place is usually freshly painted and looks sparkling new and gleaming for the occasion. Absolutely no resources are spared to spruce up the space for this annual event.

Commentary

It is my perspective that the lack of support and divisions in the PNP is partly responsible for their absence. The PNP has not yet settled down after they elected Mark Golding as their president and party Leader. The recent incident which saw the PNP Leader et al, rejecting Independent MP George Wright does not help their image. It was all caught on camera with audio. This was shameful, scandalous, silly and sleazy conduct on the part of the PNP.
