Perspective: MOCA To Probe Leaked CRH Emails? Dayton Campbell Look Out ….

Perspective

Will Dr. Dayton Campbell be a person of interest in the leaked email re CRH scandal?

An influential public figure has suggested to me that a source has revealed that the Major Organized Crime Agency (MOCA) has an interest in the leaked emails from the Ministry of Health.

Official Secrets Act

To the best of my ability the Official Secrets Act has not been abolished … so if you breach this act/law then like breaking any law you are liable to face the consequences.  This act has been in force to ensure that public servants treat with utmost care information which come to their eyes etc. in their normal course of carring out their official functions as public officers.  There are stiff penalties for those found guilty.  Breach of confidential data is serious business.

Dr. Dayton Campbell is a PNP MP for St. Ann and Opposition Spokesman on Health.  He has been very vocal, as is his job in trying to embarrass the Andrew Holness Led JLP administration.

Collaborators

There is ample evidence that especially when governments change in this country, Jamaica and elsewhere … there are public officials who serve in previous administrations who may leak information to the opposition.  There is more than abundant anecdotal evidence that this has happened or is likely to occur.  This is why certain key/sensitive positions are manned by loyal and trusted aides … known trusted loyalists.

Leaked Emails

How did Dr. Dayton Campbell gain access to emails he claims were sent internally (within the Ministry of Health) specifically dealing with the Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH) debacle?

MOCA, the equivalent to the FBI needs to probe these leaked emails.  We have no evidence that Dr. Campbell has stolen anything.

Receiving

If you aid abet in the stealing of anything or are guilty of receiving said stolen information or property … then you would be guilty of a criminal offense.  Dr. Campbell seems to be a suspect.  Suspicion alone is not guilt but could lead to a successful prosecution.

We hope the Major Organized Crime Agency (MOCA) will do their job in this case of the leaked emails which Dr. Dayton Campbell has admitted to be in possession of.  He told us so.

What is your perspective?.  This is ours.
