Even The Mighty Fall

President Ford also fell from or on the steps of Air Force One as did President Biden. To fall is human.

To rise again unaided is even better.

This is nothing to be ashamed of as 65 percent of all seniors fall. Many break their hip. Thank God Biden the latest president to fall, was not hurt. You lose your balance as a senior very easily. It goes with the aging process.

I have fallen many times, especially when in Canada on snow. Fewer times on dry land. This was carpet that they fell on. It could have been their shoes heel that got stuck in the fiber. We may never know.

As a senior you have to use hand rails even in your bathroom as many get hurt there also from falls.

Commentary

Let us not put down any senior who falls. We just need to educate all that the use of hand rails are to prevent falls. It is not to be seen as weak to use them. Forget the optics. Opt instead for safety. You can die from a simple fall if you hit your head on say the pavement. Food for thought.
