Vision For Education With Funding Grants … Only Way To Go Minister Hunter

Parent Focus

We are heartened at the enlightened approach which has been taken by the education system in Ontario, Canada by Education Minister Mitzie Hunter.  We also note that the concept of Vision for Education has been renewed.

We further note that increased funding in the form of grants is being provided to help the Region and parenting groups to better serve, equip and educate themselves  (parents).  The parent has long been identified as the first educators of their children or wards.

Better Outcomes

Better Outcomes in the advancement of these children of parents who are better equipped having been supportive families to advance not only educationally, but get better socially adjusted children,. Higher advancement of these children whose parents are involved having been motivated, is being observed. A win win for all.

Indigenous

The focus of the parent centered approach to be inclusive and recognize the need to not leave anyone behind including bringing Indigenous Canadians on board is communicable.

In my perspective any society that looks to its youths is paving a solid and secured future for all, irrespective of colour, class, sexual orientation or ethnic origin.  The older folks of our society have a lot to pass on to present and future generations.

The Chinese, for example, have revered their elders for decades.
