Ricardo Drue Releases (Vagabond) Single Worldwide
Influenced by a childhood love for Soca, R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae, Ricardo Drue has translated these passions into a music career that has taken him far further than his home island of Antigua. The single (Vagabond) brought to us by Walshy Fire, is an entertaining and true expression of his ability to break cultural barriers all while staying close to his roots.
Drue’s limited release of (Vagabond) in 2015 became a runaway hit, winning video of the year at the International Soca Awards in 2015 and counting on the support of artists like Rihanna, Fat Joe, Walshy Fire and DJ Khaled–who used the single as the outro to the music video rendition of ‘Done’ by Nas. Now, as the artist prepares to release the single to the mainstream market, Drue hopes to break the cultural barriers like so many artists have done in the past – all while staying close to his roots.
